Hi guys! Today I will be sharing some simple ways to catch bait fish and even lager Sunfish. So way #1 is: Tie on a small hook, then about one foot up, put on a cork. You can use a weight under your cork if you like, but for this method it is just as effective to use no weight, but on the other hand a weight can sometimes help your hook set. Next take a Slim Jim sausage stick and cut off a small sliver and pull the hook through the skin of the sausage with a bit of the meat sticking off. Then just flip to a area you know or believe there is fish, and just wait for the action! Method #2 is: Tie on a hook, weight, cork and use a worm, can not go wrong with Night Crawlers! Option #3 is: A cast net. I have a cast a four foot cast net and it is very useful. It makes catching bait fish in fresh or salt water much easier, and can save you hundreds on bait fish buyin’. It is pretty hard to master, but once you do, it is one of the most fun things to do, trust me, I looooove cast netting! Method four is: Minnow traps. I have never personally owned a real minnow trap, but I know how to make my very own! It is simple, useful, a great survival tool, easy to travel with and you only need five things to make it!
