DIY NERF Fishing Rod

Yeah, you read that right! A DIY NERF GUN FISHING ROD!!!!!

I have indeed made a DIY fishing pole out of a Nerf gun! You cast by shooting the gun, and the Nerd dart doubles as the bobber!

I made a 2 part series on how to make your very own Nerf gun fishing rod, and then fishing with it! The two videos were actually over a YEAR apart.

I posted the first video on how to make it as one of my first videos, and just kind of forgot about it. Well, a year later, I checked in on it, and it had over 1k VIEWS! So, that’s when I knew I had to make part 2 where I show you how to fish with, and try to catch some fish on it!

DIY NERF Fishing Rod

For my Nerf rod, I used a Shakes Spear Push Button Reel, and a Nerf Cyclon Shock Nerf Gun! Check out the 2 videos on making and fishing with a DIY Nerf gun fishing rod on my YouTube channel! You can also click either of the videos above to go straight to them! It was a TON OF FUN not only building the gun, but also fishing with it! And, I don’t want to spoil much from the video, but boy is it fun to catch fish in it! If you are looking for a new rod and reel combo, don’t want to spend a lot, but also don’t want to get some cheap rod, I would HIGHLY suggest you try this out!
