DIY Fishing Lures - Hudson's Fishing Adventures

DIY Fishing Lures

As a fishermen, I am always using lures! I do use live bait every once in a while, but 95% of the time, I fish with artificial lures. While, yes there are an ENDLESS amount of lure options out there now a days, sometimes, when you can’t get the fish to hit, it gets you thinking. Maybe you think you have figured out the lure that will always catch fish, or the lure that is the perfect shape, color, or size for the fish you are targeting! One small problem though… THAT LURE DOESN’T EXSIST. Well, what if I told you, that YOU could make your very own DIY Fishing lures at home!! Read the text below to learn more:

DIY Fishing Lures

So, Like I was saying, maybe you want to invent a lure, but just don’t know how, well, on my YouTube channel, I made a 3 part series where I shoed you how to make DIY Fishing lures! In the first part I show you how to make your own soft plastics, in the second part I show you how to make a crankbait, and in the third part, I went out and fished with them (and did good!!)

Now, making your own DIY  lures is not only great if you have a lure you want to invent or test, but it is also a great way to recycle and help out the community. As I show you in part 1 of the DIY lure series on my channel, you can actually make your own soft plastic lures by MELTING DOWN old ones! This is a great way to recycle because not only can you use broken or old soft plastics you would normally throw away, but whenever you are fishing on the bank of a body of water and you find some old soft plastics that somebody either lost or wrongly discarded, you can pick them up, and reuse them, turning them into fish catching machines! Check out my YouTube channel and the DIY Lure series to learn how to make your very own lures!
