Hi fellow fisher folk! In my last blog (“Dad to the Rescue”) I teased this blog called pre-Colorado. Today I will be blogging about a fly fishing trip we are taking in two months to Colorado! We will be going through New Mexico, then to Colorado! We will be gone for eight days! Now lets talk about what I will be doing there (fishing related). Our first chunk of driving will be to New Mexico! We will fish at any good looking/easy accessible rivers and lakes on the way. Then we will look for a hotel for the night. Then its back on the road! Our next stop is a hotel we booked in Durango Colorado, which is only a few feet away from a big river! We stay there for a few nights, then leave to Ouray Colorado, which is also a few feet off a river! We stay there for a few more nights, then head back, staying in a hotel or two. And if it was not clear, I will be fly fishing at every single river within a five mile radius of the hotels we stay at!
So wish me luck that we do some fishin’ damage in Colorado! And no matter what I catch or don’t catch, I will be writing a post Colorado blog. I will also be bringing my gopro, and if I catch any good footage, I will post that as well!
