Roostertail

Great Lures

Today we are going to talk about some of the best lures and how to use them. The first one is going to be a Rooster tail. It is a lure we have caught: Bass, Crappie, and Bluegill on. The way you use it is to simply cast it out into the water, and pretty quickly reel it in. If it is not spinning like it is supposed to, then give it a slight jerk. Now onto the second lure. It is a wacky worm. First you are going to pick a colored worm of your choice (without a squiggly tail) and take a hook (really any worm hook) and hook the worm right through the middle. Then cast it out (far but gently) and let it sink a minute (trying to not get stuck on the bottom). Next you are going to very slowly reel it in and, every once in a while, bounce it a little. Now on to our third lure, the Normal rigged worm. I have caught Bass on the wacky worm and the normal rigged worm. A normal rigged worm you simply (scroll down to watch a video on how to rig one). You then cast it out and slowly reel it back and every once in a while bounce it. You can get all these great lures at Bass Pro Shops!
