Structure Equals Fish

A few days ago I went to Cabela’s to look around. And in their aquarium were a ton of giant Bass and a few big Bluegill. Me and my dad noticed that there was a few fake rocks and trees in the aquarium, and all the fish were crammed together in between the rocks and the tree. The picture down below is proof that fish love shelter. One day about a year ago, my dad and I were fishing in lake Dunlap. There were a ton of docks, and we had our rods that fling lures way under the dock, they’re called Sharp Shooters. I had a little jig on and flipped it about thirty feet under the dock, and slowly retrieved it. All of the sudden about half way under the dock I hooked a giant fish! When we got him in, he was a big Bluegill. Another example of fish liking structure is my personal best Bass! One day in Horseshoe Bay, my dad and I were fishing for a fish fry. I had a super small rubber jig on. I noticed where an old dock met the shore line. I flipped my little jig over, basically touching where the dock and the bank meet, and the next thing I knew I had a five pound Bass in the boat! Yet another example is the day I caught the most Sheep Head I had ever caught, I was casting about one foot from an abandoned Coast Guard Station.
