Hey fellow fishing adventurers! Today we are going to be talking about the REVOLUTIONARY Googan Baits!
Earlier this week, my family and I went over to Cabelas. We went to pick up some gear for one of my YouTube Videos. After walking through the famous “Cabelas wall aquarium“, we headed over to the fishing section. While looking at all of the hundreds and thousands of soft plastics in today’s fishing market, I realized they were all pretty much the same lures, just different brands. Of course you have your basic soft plastic lures: Tube baits, lizards, sankos, and swim baits. Then you have the other soft plastics, like: Flukes, drop shot worms, and a few others. But like I mentioned earlier, all the sankos look the same. All the swim baits look the same. All the lizards look the same, and so on.
But, through all these lures, there was one brand that caught my eye: Googan Baits. Not only was their packaging and slogan smooth and slick, but their lures are so crazy!
Their “Lizard” is called a Trench Hawg, and has crazy curled limbs to give the lizard a swimming look when being retrieved, instead of your ordinary soft plastic lizard limbs. Along with the limbs comes the crazy double swimming tail! All adding up to make the super lure that looks amazing in the water! Then you have the Googan’s “Swim Bait” called the Saucy Swimmer.
With multiple sizes, grooves along the whole lure to give it that incredible life like action, and an amazing profile, the Saucy Swimmer is one of the best artificial swim baits in the world! And of course, if you do not have the Googan Bandito Bug in your tackle box, you will not be catching as much fish. The design of the Bandito Bug imitates a creepy crawly fleeing. Cast that bad boy out with Brass n Glass and a worm hook, and hold on to your rod! Next up on the Googan Bait list is the Lunker log. This sanko has a simpler design, but is still one of the best lures on the market.
One of my favorite Googan Baits is the Rattlin’ Ned. This short lure is lethal when paired with a shaky head jig head. And, the rattlers built into the lure are the cherry on the ice cream! Then there is the Drag n Drop, which is a drop shot worm. The minnow like shape of the lure creates a fish catching machine! Just pitch the lure out on a drop shot rig, drag it along the bottom with some bounces mixed in, and you are practically guaranteed to catch a fish. Then there is the 10inch Mondo Worm. This large worm will lure in the biggest of Bass, and might just work for other big freshwater species as well. Next is the Slim Shake Worm. The action on this lure will have fish practically jumping out of the water! This lure is a feeding frenzy starter, with its unique design and textured tail. Last but not least, possibly my favorite Googan Bait, the Krackin’ Craw! The swimming claws, realistic colors, and incredible action make this lure Bass candy!
Lots of Personal Bests have been caught on the Googan baits, and here is why: All the Googan Baits are infused with their secret sauce: Slaunch Sauce, their unique, life like action, the detailed design, and the dozens of different colors. These are just 4 reasons out of the Multiple why Googan baits are not your typical baits (in a good way).
