Hi guys! Today I am going to share my favorite fishing stores to shop at for fishin’ gear. #1: Bass Pro Shops. I love their wide selection, cool fishing gear and all their cool fishponds throughout the store. I have bought multiple rods, a lot of lures, my fish net and much more cool things from Bass Pro. And I give each item I have ever bought from their stores a five star review. Once again they have such a large selection from a ton of fishing gear to a whole lot of cool shoes! For a few years in a row, my birthday dinner has been at Bass Pro Shops, and my favorite gift is a gift card to Bass Pro! I have even caught Crappie in their ponds with a rooster tail and my mini rod (which is from Bass Pro)! #2: Cabelas. I don’t really have to get into this one because they are now owned by Bass Pro, so the same selection, just a different name. Once again a five star review. Cabelas is were my wading tube is from (checkout my blog titled: “cabelas tube” for more info). #3: Academy. They do not have as wide as a selection, but still some cool stuff. I have purchased my line stripper, multiple lures and bait buckets from academy, and they all work just fine. #4: Local fishing shops. You would be surprised at the cool stuff small local shops carry. I have around five local shops around me, and they are all pretty cool. My favorite one around me is a fly shop called: “Gruene Outfitters.” It is really cool inside, their flies are pretty cheap, and we have bought many flies, and even a brand new fly rod and reel for Colorado (only a few weeks away from the trip)! I like knowing that the supplies I buy from local shops is made by locals, not a factory. #5: Amazon. Obviously they have everything online, including a whole world of fishing supplies. I rather shop in person so I can feel, test and really inspect the product, but sometimes (in fact most times) online shopping is more efficient, faster and cheaper. #6: Gas stations. Believe it or not, some gas stations near water carry some cool supplies for fishing. Even some HEBs (like the one in Horseshoe Bay near the Colorado river) carry a decent fishing section. That’s it for today, so I will see you next time on Hudson’s Fishing Adventures! Bye!
