Hi guys! Today I’ll be blogging about wade fishing and a Cabela’s wading tube. We had gotten to Port O’connor yesterday, and I was in a little fishing tube because where we were wading it was too deep for me. My dad and grandad were wading and already had a few keepers and I had none. I was really upset that I didn’t get any in yet, but then my dad taught me a trick and I got two keepers in! So far my tube was working! Later the fishing kind of slowed down, so we decided to move. It didn’t take long for me to get a bite. The fish pulled so hard that it pulled the rod out of my hands! My dad caught my rod and gave it to me and it took line but I set the hook and it was on! For about 30 minutes I fought the fish and when I got it in it was an oversized redfish! That redfish made a big mistake getting hooked on something that the other end was on something floating! At the end we let it go, but scroll down to see a picture of it and some trout.
